- Bring 1 cup rice and 1 1/2 cups water to boil, stirring occasionally.
- Lower heat, cover, and simmer 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stand, covered, 5-10 minutes. Serve.

- Bring 1 cup rice and 6-8 cups water to boil, stirring occasionally.
- REDUCE HEAT AND BOIL GENTLY, uncovered, 12-15 minutes.
- Drain well and serve.

- For each cup of rice add 1 - 1.5 cups water. (Water needed varies with rice cookers)
- Allow the rice to cool slightly before serving.
